For a while now
Everything to me has become connected
Nietzsche and his nihilistic view
Where nothing is connected and there are no coincidences
Has been proven in favor of another opinion
Not even by the free flow of information
Or tabloids, magazines, television, newspapers
No
His theory was deflated by something that is not tangible. We can see it’s silhouette reflecting back at us. Its simple clicks and abrev. words, no time to spell out simple gestures. It’s a reality waiting for you to sign up and sign in.
The password to the world around you is at your finger tips.
Its an existential viewpoint, where we are all one
And where the being that guides us can now save His documents
I’ll see you without seeing me and it’s like meeting each other for the first time but not really.
It’s knowing my name and us never meeting.
It’s pictures on the wall and places we haven’t been.
These things now
These still moments of our lives
Now shared and superconnected
And recently, they’ve come to the palms of our hands
The world around us passes by while we wonder what we’re missing out on
So sign in to the world you used to know
Call everyone all the time so they know what you’re doing
Let them validate your existence
Co-dependently independent of one another
Superconnected when all we need to do is leave this behind
It’s being a phone call away that makes us so lonely
When no one is calling
Or signing up
Or signing in
That is when you know we are all connected but no one is saying anything.
